Large to medium food processors often produce enough waste to power their own process and more. This includes many industries such as potato processing, sugar, and abattoirs.
Typically off cuts and offal are high in fat and protein this can be difficult to utilise with AD, and sterilisation can be regulated. However, as part of a mixed diet they have a high energy potential and improve the fertiliser quality.
Stomach Content whilst already digested still has an energy content which can be utilised easily with very little issues.
This wastewater is typically contaminated with fats, greases, and oils these can be separated and utilised elsewhere whilst the water can be reused.

Bagasse the residue from sugar cane is typically dried and burned to produce the heat and electricity required for the sugar process. Excess bagasse is often sold as animal feed. Whilst not necessarily good to anaerobically digest by itself bagasse could be used in co-digestion with food waste of manure to increase RNG yield.

Potato peels from fries production can be often discarded as a headache but the remaining starch and fibre can be utilised to produce energy for the process using anaerobic digestion.

Phenols in olive wastewater can be an issue due to their anti-microbial nature, this means they make them difficult to treat.
